Nothing makes you remember that you’re not at home like not being able to drink the tap water. Even in Southern California, I could always stick my head under the faucet if I wanted to, although I might not like the taste. Here, I’ve been buying bottled water and refilling them from the machine at work, which is really cheap, but I bought a Brita tank a month or so ago for supreme convenience.
It took me until today to get it out and prep it, but it’s really nice to have my own water whenever. Hopefully, I didn’t do anything wrong, or I could face some consequences. I don’t really know what they are, but I don’t want to find out.
